
I spent the morning at
Knit Happy, working on square #16. As you can see in the photo, I did manage to find a few items to purchase. Ha!

This week, I started a knitting class at
Haus of Yarn with my good friend, Marie, from work. We're making a
swirl shawl using lace weight yarn and the lessons last for 3 weeks. This is my first foray into lace and I'm still a little nervous. I admit that one late night this week the above items were slung across the room in frustration. I had to start over 3 times! Knitting with a small piece of thread tests your patience.

Here's a close-up of the hexagon. Only about 80 more of these to go! The teacher was so funny - she said we should have 16 of these done before our class next Tuesday - uh, I don't think so Dave. I did buy some Addi lace needles today - maybe that will help!
