Sky Scarf: March

Well I didn't like how my scarf was looking so I ripped the whole thing out, switched to a smaller needle, and started over! I like it much better now.

Bob's retiring today!

Well we made it through the countdown. Today's the day! I'll be driving to KY soon to help Bob move back home. We are both very excited.

New Scarf

Sky Scarf: February

I am continuing to knit the sky scarf where I knit two rows to represent the colors of the sky for an entire year. Here's what it looks like through February.

My family & friends know that I'm a huge Vera Bradley fan. Here's a key chain I got today at Dot & Stells.

Quick set of notecards

While I had my carving tools out yesterday, I quickly made this cute flower stamp. It's about an inch square. Love it!

I die cut a postage square from some DCWV cards and pop dotted the image - quick and easy.

Word for 2013: Faith

Here's a drawing I did in January of my word for 2013. I carved a stamp of it and the result is shown in red below my drawing.

I am having fun drawing Zentangles. Hard to believe that the first photo turns into the second one!

Sky Scarf: January

Here's the progress for the month of January: lots of gray days and working late where I only saw the night sky. Length is 6 1/2 inches.

I had originally thought I would do some sort of pattern with 3 strands per day but that quickly changed when I had a huge knot of yarn by day 7!

Plan B: keep it simple - cast on 30 stitches, 2 strands, and knit each row.
